Chrissy Teigen‘s daughter isn’t the only Luna making waves online.

Yes, John Legend‘s gorgeous toddler practically broke the internet when she adorably threw out the first pitch at a Seattle Mariners game. However, that’s not the Luna we’d like to talk about today.

Perezcious readers, we’d like you to meet Luna, an orange tabby from Charlotte, NC who just had her very own quinceañera. In case you were unaware, a quinceañera is a Hispanic and Latino rite a passage where a girl’s 15th birthday is celebrated with a lavish bash. So how did this cat end up with a party meant for teenage girls? Well, we’ll tell you…

According to The Dodo, when Luna was only three weeks old, Angel Olavarria‘s family discovered the feline wandering along the side of a road. Since they’re good people, the Olavarrias decided to adopt the little kitten. So, as Luna is clearly apart of their family, the cat’s owners decided to do something special for her milestone birthday.

Luna’s human brother explained:

"We have spoiled her with abundant love and she has outlived all of our pets. On her 15th birthday we decided to give our little cheese ball a surprise quinceañera."

We mean, 15 is pretty freakin’ old for a cat — you go, girl!

It’s said Angel’s mom first came up with the idea to throw Luna a quinceañera a year ago. However, they waited until a week before the event to start planning for the party. Angel continued:

"My mom found the dress on Amazon. I totally thought my mom was joking when she said she was going to order a dress for her, but my mom never jokes about our pets."

LOVES it! The Olavarrias certainly pulled out all the stops for Luna’s big party as they decorated their house with pink decorations and massive balloons. Oh, and let us not forget about the tres leches cake and can of tuna Luna enjoyed at her bash.

And it sounds like guests at the event were totally into the theme as Brigitte Olavarria told Buzzfeed:

"We sent out invitations to our immediate family members and best friends a week in advance. Everyone showed up and were all so excited…Twelve people that came to the party, which lasted about three hours. Luna was such a good sport during the whole thing."

Awwww.

Happy birthday, Luna! We’re more than ready to see what your family does for your 16th birthday!
