Jackpot Eludes: $560M Mega Millions Drawing

The combined value of two unclaimed jackpots has surpassed $1 billion, with Mega Millions and Powerball offering enormous prizes to lucky winners.

The Mega Millions jackpot, initially estimated at $560 million, went unclaimed on Friday night, resulting in its further growth – setting the stage for an exciting week of lotteries. The winning numbers for the draw were 10-24-48-51-66, with the Mega Ball being 15.

Although there were no jackpot winners, four tickets sold in California, North Carolina, and South Carolina matched all five main numbers, entitling each ticket holder to a $1 million prize. Additionally, the South Carolina ticket holder won $2 million by playing with a 2x Megaplier.

For those who missed out on the previous draw, there’s still another opportunity to win big on Saturday with the Powerball lottery. The estimated prize for this draw is a staggering $875 million, as reported on the official Powerball website.

This Powerball prize happens to be the third-largest in the history of the game, according to officials. Since the last grand-prize winner on April 19, the prize has rolled over 36 times, steadily accumulating. Both the Mega Millions and Powerball lotteries are played in 45 states across the United States.

The Powerball draw is scheduled for Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET, offering participants another chance to claim a life-changing jackpot.
